Following my graduation in November 2023, I decided to paint a small section of my garden. As it was raining frequently and I still had some blue paint from my thesis, I opted to create a freestyle abstract mural. With the intention of travelling to Africa and looking forward to spending my days surfing at the beach, I chose to recreate this magical environment in my backyard. The mural is composed of eight shades of blue, which have been applied in an abstract style. The aim of using so many shades of blue is to create a sense of depth and contrast, evoking the characteristics of the Atlantic Ocean.

The mural also features two palm trees, which serve to reinforce the concept of the beach and of the holidays.
